Introducing Project Grateful. A little contest with a lot of ❤.
Throughout the entire Thanksgiving week, we invite you to take a moment to think about how fortunate we all are to share our lives with our dogs. What do they teach us, what do they remind us of, how do they make our days fuller and our nights warmer. What is it that's so simple and magical about the relationship between dog and human?
Are you grateful when you hit the trail with your dog for a crisp morning walk? How about when she nudges you off the computer for an afternoon brain break. Or cuddles up with your family at the end of a long day.
- Project Grateful runs for the entire Thanksgiving week, from now through December 1st.
- You're welcome to enter several dog moments, up to 5 posts per dog, just by adding the hashtag #grateful in your caption or comments. These must be newly created Posts in order to be eligible to win the grand prize.
- Each day throughout the week we'll award a few Editor's Picks to our favorite and best designed #grateful Posts, all of which get entered into a pool for our grand prize drawing. If you're selected as an Editor's Pick you'll get an email from Pack to let you know.
- On Monday December 2nd we'll select a grand prize winner from the pool.
This Thanksgiving, we want to help you help your favorite organization.
The grand prize will be given to the post in the Editor's Picks #grateful pool that has the most loves on Pack. For our grand prize winner, we will gift a $250 donation to your favorite dog rescue or dog nonprofit of choice. (Has to be a 501c3 in the U.S., but the rest is up to you, just tell us where to make the donation). Better yet, if you get 500 people or more to love your #grateful Post by December 2nd, we'll double that amount for a total $500 donation to your favorite organization. That means if you can get that organization involved in supporting you for Project Grateful, you up the odds of winning on their behalf.
That's it. It's pretty simple. Project Grateful is a tiny way to pause during the holiday scramble to take a deep breath and reflect with your dog. It's also our way to help say thanks to the incredible local shelters and rescues and dog nonprofits doing good work on behalf of these beasts we love. :)
Ready, set, go!
